There are many things I can say about this date in 2001. Life before, life after. Feelings after hearing the news. Fears for loved ones. The way it brought me back to the career I had always planned. The way my gut twists when I see the videos and the photos to this day. I was not in Washington or New York.
Maybe I should just say: I remember.

There is now a knitters guild in Midland. They are called the Black Sheep Knitters Guild. We meet every second Monday of the month at the Stitching Post. They are located next to Tuesday Morning off of Loop 250. Sorry but the address I have for them is the old one. The phone number is 607-1241 if you want the exact address. Dues are $20.00 for the year. The group is growin. We had quite a crowd tonight. Come out and join us. Tonight we had a demo of hairpin lace, and another on the Sweater Buddy computer program that helps you make a sweater pattern to your specifications. Next meeting date is Oct 9th 6:30-8:30. Come early to get a good seat, LOL. And the store offers us a 15% discount on meeting nights. Yahoo.
